thesis photo shoot behind the scenes!

today was our photoshoot for the fashion show programs. we got 3 of our 5 looks photographed, but for legal reasons, the department doesn't have rights to them, so i took my own. excuse the blurriness- i am a terrible photographer!
also: i want to say a big thank you to my models, who worked so hard to look so good. you guys are the best!

thank you ian...

look 1: wool toggle coat with block printed tee, XL scarf, and light wash jean.

look 2: reversible lumberjack snap vest with knitted beanie, gingham seersucker western shirt, and dark wash selvedge detail jean.

look 3: ultra suede and fleece moto x jacket with cowboy shirt, knitted tie, and jersey jean.

senior thesis update

denim denim denim! 2 out of 3 jeans are sewn (except for the beltloops) and waiting to be stonewashed and distressed this weekend.

and also, the first shirt is almost finished. i love this print so much--especially after i coffee dyed it to make it look vintage.

also on the close-to-be-completed list is my very fancy cable sweater. stay tuned :)

MY SENIOR THESIS COLLECTION!

for my senior thesis, i designed a men's sportswear collection for fall. my color palette focuses on greens and browns and denim, with pops of lighter color to add interest.

these are the five final looks i'm making for the runway show:

this guy is going to be wearing a thick hand knit sweater similar to the one in look 2 over his shirt:

these are the rest of the looks that i designed as options:

wish me luck!
